Michael Avallone Obituary
Dr. Avallone Sr. maintained leadership positions in a great number of medical organizations: Past President of the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, Pennsylvania General Practitioners Society, American College of Osteopathic Family Practitioners. He was a member of the Philadelphia County Osteopathic Medical Society, Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and American Osteopathic Association. He served on the American Osteopathic Association Socio-Economic Committee, and served as chairman of the Convention Committee for the Pennsylvania Osteopathic Medical Association, American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians, and the American Osteopathic Association. He was chairman of the Convention Committee for the Philadelphia Osteopathic Medical Association and the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians.
He is survived by his loving wife Regina, his three children, Dr. Michael F. Jr., Regina L., and Dr. John A.; and his grandchildren, Jamee, Gabriella, Vincent, Gia and Michael III. Dr. Michael F. Avallone Sr. will be missed dearly, as he touched so many lives over the years. Viewing will be held at St. Bartholomew Church at 5:30 P.M. Wednesday with Funeral Mass on Thursday morning 10 A.M .

Lavern Ford , myself, and our staff at Rascal/Electric Mobility are deeply saddened by the loss of our friend Michael F. Avallone Sr.
Our community is richer for the efforts Dr. Avallone in the fields of medicine and of commerce.
I had the pleasure of meeting with Dr. Avallone at his offices several
times. On display were his many diplomas and awards. However the most prominent display in the room was that of the Avallone family; wife, children and grandchildren.
They were what he was most proud of,and most important to him.
Our hearts go out to the Avallone family at this most difficult time.

I have many memories of Dr.Avallone, being one of his first patients. His big cigars, sense of humor and his no nonsense approach. He will be sadly missed not only as a great doctor but more so as a person committed to his family, friends and collegues.
