MICHAEL P., age 51, of Mayfair. Formerly of Logan. Suddenly on Sept. 8, 2007. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Barrett). Cherished father of Monica C., Rebecca L. and the late Dominic; brother of John Whalen and Katherine Lutz; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family will receive relatives and friends Sat. 9:30-10:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Consolation Church, Tulip and Princeton Sts. Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M. Int. private. In lieu of flowers, Scholarship Fund for Monica and Rebecca Mansi, c/o Freedom Credit Union, 4900 Princeton Ave., Phila., PA 19135.

Mike, you,ve left such a big hole in my heart that can never be filled. I believe in my heart you are in heaven with Dan, Stephen, Mom and Dad. Like your idol "Frank Sinatra" you did it your way. We will always look after Patty and the girls.

Our family will surely miss Mr. Mike at the corner every day! We always looked for him on our daily travels and he always gave us a friendly holler and wave!
We are so sorry for your loss Patty, Monica, Rebecca and the rest of the family.
Mike was one of a kind, one we won't soon forget. He was the kind of neighbor everyone hoped to have.
