Michael McGillian Obituary
MICHAEL J. age 60, on May 10, 2009 after a brief illness, of Springfield, PA. Beloved husband of Betsy (nee Redick) McGillian. Devoted brother of Joe (Renee) McGillian, John (Pam) McGillian, Maureen (John) Galeone, Therese (Rick) Pattinson an Peggie McGillian. Also survived by nephews Joseph, Andrew, Christopher, Brian and Ricky; nieces Alana, Allison and Meghan. Michael was retired from the U.S. Postal Service and was formerly a member of the DELCO Roadrunners. Funeral Mass Fri. 10 A.M. at St. Philomena Church, Baltimore and Highland Aves., Lansdowne, PA. Family and friends may visit Thurs. Eve 7-9 P.M. and Fri. 8:30-9:30 A.M. at DOYLE-STONELAKE FUNERAL HOME, 83-85 E. Baltimore Ave., Lansdowne PA 19050. Int. will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the Alzheimers Assoc. 399 Market St., Suite 102, Phila., PA 19106 would be appreciated.

As a former member of the Delco Road Runners Club, some of my fondest memories involve "fun runs" with Michael. He was always smiling, no matter how hard the run. This is how I remember him: always with a big smile on his face.
