Mitchell O'Neill Obituary

O'NEILL - MITCHELL CASSY T., 71, a resident of Wappingers Falls, NY, since 1954, formerly of Phila., died Aug. 13, 2002 at Vassar Brothers Med. Center in Poughkeepsie, NY. A homemaker, Mrs. Mitchell belonged to St. Mary's Church in Wappingers Falls, was an active choir member; she belonged to St. Mary's Mother Guild, the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians, Meals on Wheels and the Home Bureau, Wappingers Falls. Born March 30, 1931 in Phila., the daughter of Patrick and Catherine Madden O'Neill. On Sept. 11, 1954, she married John J. Mitchell in Phila. Mr. Mitchell predeceased her on April 4, 1999. Survived by a daughter, Catherine M. Struder, her husband, Kurt L. Struder of Leesburgh, VA; a son Sean J. Mitchell his wife, Jennifer, of Ridgefield, CT; 2 sisters Emily O'Neill of Phila. and Sister Vincent of San Pedro, CA; 5 grandchildren several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 4 brothers William, Thomas, John and Edward O'Neill. Calling hours Thurs. Aug. 15, 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at STRAUB FUNERAL HOME, INC., 55 E. Main St., Wappingers Falls, NY. Mass of Christian Burial Fri., Aug. 16, 10 A.M. St. Mary's School Hall, Convent Ave., Wappingers Falls. Burial St. Mary's Cem. in Wappingers Falls. Memorial donations to St. Mary's Restoration Fund, 11 Clinton St., Wapppingers Falls, NY 12590.
