NEIL DOUGHERTY Obituary
Beloved husband of the late Anne (nee Heimbecker). He is survived by sons, Neil (Bernadette) of Glenside PA. and Michael (Maria) of Drexel Hill PA; daughters, Anne Devlin (the late Joe Devlin, the late Jake Smith) of Montoursville PA, Maryellen Lyons (Jack) of Moorestown NJ and Marguerite "Maggie" Betz (Gene) of Corbin City NJ. Grandfather (Pop-Pop) to George Smith, Chris Smith, Dan Dougherty, Jennifer Betz, Peggy Shoemaker, Kerrianne Manion, Brendan Dougherty, Meghan Nelson, Jack Lyons, Michael Dougherty Jr. Also survived by 12 great grand-children and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers, Andrew and Bernard; sisters, Anna Mae Harkins, Margaret Schuhl, Lillian Osborn, Catherine Jaconski, Veronica Grant; one grandchild and one great grandchild.
Funeral Mass on Monday, July 6, 2009, 2 P.M., at the Church of the Epiphany, 29th and Ventnor, Longport NJ. There will be a Viewing immediately preceding from 12 Noon to 2 P.M. Interment on Tuesday, 11 A.M. Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham PA. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Northeast Catholic Alumni Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc. Attention: Northeast Catholic High School Develop-ment Office, 1842 Torresdale Ave., Phila. PA 19124, "In memory of Neil Dougherty".
