O'Dell Robinson "Syd" FARLEY

FARLEY O'Dell "Syd" Robinson Dec. 3, 1949 - July 20, 2025 O'Dell "Syd" Robinson, only child of Louis J. and Edythe M. Siceluff, died in the loving care of her husband Peter and son Peter J. Farley IV at home in Brooklyn on July 20, 2025. Syd was beloved within her church community of St. Ann and the Holy Trinity in Brooklyn Heights where she was a parishioner for over 40 years and held numerous leadership roles including vestry member and warden. As a member of the altar guild, Syd drew appreciation for her knitting, handworks, and vestment designs for clergy. Syd taught Sunday School for 25 years and was president of her son's elementary and middle school parent associations. Syd will be remembered for her warmth, wit, her sense of style, and for her beautiful singing voice. St. Ann's at 157 Montague Street will honor her with a Visitation Wednesday, July 23, 5:00 P.M. - 7:00 P.M, and a Funeral Service at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, July 24, followed by a 1:00 P.M. burial graveside at Green-Wood Cemetery.
