OLIVER OWEN Obituary
OLIVER E. OWEN M.D. of Gladwyne, PA, died on Mon. Sept. 6, 2010 at the age of 75. He was the beloved husband of Paula Owen and devoted father of Michele Owen Black (Dennis), Rodney Owen (Betsy) and Lydia Owen Babich(Glenn). He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Samantha and Derek Black, Jordan and Carter Owen and Chris and Kevin Babich; and his brother, John Owen (Ruth). His Memorial Service will be held on Sat. Sept. 11, 10:30am in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 721 Paxson Hollow Rd., Broomall, PA. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to Laurel House, a domestic violence shelter, P.O. Box 764, Norristown, PA 19404.

Such a dear friend way back in high school and so helpful rounding up our 50th year reunion (Roswell Senior High 1953 graduates). A wonderful admirable person. My wife and I send our condolences to all the family. Larry & Lenore Goodell in Placitas, NM.

We are so sorry for your loss. Clint told me last night that he had heard that the funeral would be today. Wish we could be there! Did Aunt Arwella get to come? How is her health? Paula & family - was so saddened to hear about our sweet, wonderful Oliver - he will be so greatly missed. Ruth called Jaque & I have email to all the Owen family that I have addresses for. Just know that our prayer are with you and the family, only wish you were closer to us. We love you all

Dear Mrs. Owen, Michele, Rodney, and Lydia, I am so very sorry for the loss of your husband and father. No one can say anything that will fill the emptiness that you are feeling now, since that is exactly how I felt after the loss of my parents, empty. You feel angry that the world is going about their business yet you have such a loss. Somehow the world should stop and acknowledge Dr. Owen's death, they should know and care. No one ever prepares you for the loss of a spouse or parent. There is no life experience for you to call upon. Please know that my heart is with you during this sad time.
