PATRICIA B. (nee Barrow), on Nov. 23, 2008, of Havertown, PA. Beloved wife of Daniel F. Comly. Loving mother of William (Lynne) Comly, Patricia (Dr. Richard) Pascucci, Daniel (Vicky) Comly, Jr., Stephen (Donna) Comly, Andrew (Joanne) Comly, Mary (Michael) McGann, Elizabeth (Joseph) Rafferty, Suzanne (William) Gennaro, Margaret (Francis) Wiseley, Peter (Amy) Comly and Christine Comly-Faulkner; also survived by 46 grandchildren, 7 great grand-children and her sisters, Gertrude McHugh, Elizabeth Cox, Eleanor Schoch and Jane Timmins, predeceased by her infant son James Barrow Comly and her siblings, Daniel Barrow, Jr., Florence Hart, Marie Barrow, Michael Barrow, Robert A. Barrow, Robert T. Barrow and Edward Barrow. Relatives and friends may visit the family Tues. Eve., Nov. 25, 2008, 6-9 P.M. at THE DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, 8401 WEST CHESTER PIKE (cor. To the Comly Family:
I read of Pat's death "on-line" in the Philadelphia Inquirer yesterday. Since I moved to South Carolina almost 20 years ago, I have kept in touch "with home" through friends and the Inquirer, but I hadn't heard about Pat's illness. My family always referred to the Comly's as the "First Family of Drexel Hill and St. Bernadette's!" My Mom and only sister died over five years ago within months of each other. I am grateful you have each other. Your loving family is in my prayers.

We knew many of the Comly's from the wonderful gatherings shared in the Macungie backyard and of course, the stories of their growing up. We share your saddness; may you find peace in the precious memories you all have in your hearts. I am so sorry for your loss. One of my greatest memories in my high school days was how cool your Mom and Dad were . Having 11 kids one would have thought your world would be chaos but your family was always so put together. It was quite amazing how your mom and dad managed to be so organized. Being 1 of 11 myself we could not hold a match to your togetherness. Be well and our prayers are with you all!!

Comly Family - I am a friend of Meg Comly-Wiseley. I have had the great opportunity of being Meg's friend for several years now, hearing of the wonderful love and support her family brings to her, especially her mother. Meg has shared stories over the years, stories of her wonderful mother's love and guidance. I have often thought how lucky Meg is to have such a wonderful mother to guide her through life. I am glad to know that Mrs. Comly's suffering is over, yet sad to know that she is gone. I'm sure that she will be missed tremendously; however, I'm also sure that she will continue to guide her family, only now from above.
