Paul Rieser Obituary

RIESER PAUL, 79, of Springfield PA, formerly of Upper Darby, April 26, 2003. He was born on June 3, 1923 in Phila. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy WWII, earning The European Theater Ribbon, The Good Conduct Ribbon, The American Theater Ribbon and a Victory Medal. He graduated from Upper Darby H.S., attended Villanova Univ. and graduated from Phila. Museum School (now Phila. College of Art). He worked as Art Director at Triangle Publications, in Phila. and started his own award-winning advertising agency, Paul Rieser Advertising. He taught at The Art Institute of Phila. Beloved husband of Rosalie (nee Kessler); devoted father of Lauren Shawl, Amy Rieser, Haley DeStefano and Francine Smith; loving grandfather of Daniel, Jenna, Jack, Alysia, Andrew, Justin and Carly; dear father-in-law of Mel, Jack and Steve; brother-in-law of Joseph Kessler. Paul will be remembered for his vibrancy, his love of life, his creativity and his willingness to help others. Relatives and friends are invited to Funeral Thursday, 3 P.M., at Temple Sholom, Annex Bldg., 55 N. Church Lane, Broomall PA, with reception to follow.
