Donohue Rodgers; devoted father of Kathleen, Jennifer and Ashley Rodgers; devoted son of Joan A. Parvis Rodgers and the late Thomas H. Rodgers; dear brother of Lawrence J., Timothy M. and Joan M. Rodgers and Nancy M. Furmanak and the late Donald T. and David A. Rodgers; also survived by 2 nephews and 2 nieces. Funeral Mass 11:30 A.M. Thursday at The Church of St. John Chrysostom, 607 S. Providence Rd., Wallingford, PA where friends may call after 10 A.M. Interment SS Peter and Paul Cem., Springfield, Pa. Contributions in memory of Paul T. I haven't seen Paul in years, but I've spent all day thinking of him. My heart goes out to his family especially his wife and children. No matter if you spent minutes or years with Paul, he has a profound impact on your life.
Seize the day. Sugar would want it that way.

Karen and Girls,
Paul was truly a gift and a reminder to us all to live in the moment and to love deeply. He was bigger than life itself and I am grateful to have had the opportunity to know someone like him. I know I will try to make each day a 'Paul Rodgers' kind of day - it is the best testament to his life that I can give. My prayers are with you.

One man with such a big heart. He should have lived to be 100 surrounded by great-great grandchildren. I've never before or since met a person with such life and spirt. The world will truely miss Sugar. May God bless your family.

Yesterday was such a beautiful tribute to Paul. It is so rare to know a person that truly wanted to make everyone else happy and to know he really cared for everyone. Paul was a guys guy who was not afraid to let everyone know how much he loved you, Katie, Jen and Ashley. I will always miss my "cabana boy". My thoughts and prayers are with you, Paul and your entire family.

Scrolling down through the messages and names brought a whole lot of memories back.
I haven't seen him in several years but I'll never forget his favorite phrase when we were tired in practice.... "put a hurtin' on it".
Sugar was a good man and my prayers go out to his family.

Words cannot describe the emotions of this moment, my sympathies go out to the family. Even though I haven't seen Paul in several years, I thought of him often. His personality and demeanor always put a smile on my face. He will be deeply missed!!

Dear Karen and Girls, There are few people who come into your life who brighten the days. That is what Paul did everytime we saw him. Always a cheerful hello, wonderful smile and a helping hand if needed. His loving care for his family touched my heart. I think of Paul as one of God's shooting stars, one of the brightest, but alas too short lived. Our sincere sympathy on the loss of a wonderful man. It was an honor for us all to have known him.
