Chris, Lisa, Amy, Peter, Patrick, and all of Pete's family - we are so saddened by your loss - the gift of Pete among you every day. Pete was a wonderful friend - witty, thoughtful, generous, loyal, and tolerant. He had the most incredible smile and ability to laugh at even the most feeble attempts at humor. Fortunately, we have many pictures of us with Pete and Chris - many happy times although far too few in recent years. The distance in miles did not diminish our love and respect for Pete, but it does prevent us, we are so sorry to say, from being with you today. Please know that you and Pete are in our thoughts and prayers. We are so grateful that he was a part of our lives - we will miss him very much. With love and sympathy, Katha and John
