PHYLLIS MILLEVOI Obituary

MILLEVOI PHYLLIS J. (nee DORN) OCT. 7, 1943 - MAY 24, 2025 Age 81, of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2025, surrounded by family and love. Born October 7, 1943, to the late Harry and Edna Dorn, Phyllis was a proud Frankford High graduate who met her husband, Kenneth J. Millevoi, Sr., in 10th grade. Married for 62 fun-filled years, Ken preceded her in death in 2021. Phyllis is survived by her brother Kenneth Dorn; children Ken, Jr. (Nancy), Janice Darragh (James), Kevin, Sr. (Kimberly), and Nicole Rouzer (Dwayne); grandchildren Kenneth, III, Jacob, Kyle, Anthony, Alexa, Ava, Kevin, Jr., Connor, and Stella; great-grandchildren Amelia, Reef, Savannah, Isabelle, and Mason; and 13 grand-dogs she adored. She loved music, dancing, Ocean City, and always brought laughter - often with a clown nose or a clever joke. She truly lived her motto: Live, Love, Laugh A Viewing will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 10 A.M. to 12 P.M., followed by Mass at 12 noon at St. Christopher's Catholic Church, 13301 Proctor Rd., Philadelphia. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, a cause close to Phyllis's heart.

What a bright light shown when Phyllis was in the room. Never a time when stories of family weren´t shared. The best times in my life were with Kenny and Phyl. Whether it was a dinner, a vacation, B-B-Q or a trip down the river on Pickles, always laughter and love. I picture Phyllis in heaven running around with her fake bunny teeth asking if anyone has any carrot cake!!! Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Rest in Peace Phyl!!!! As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of God, family and friends. Please find comfort in the words found at Isaiah 61:1,2.

When I hear the song New York, New York I see Phyllis on stage at Ryan High School dancing with her friends in a chorus line.
Laughing is her signature. Many years ago we were thrown out of a public bathroom because we were causing a disturbance with our none stop laughing. This happened on a long ago camping and canoe trip in NY.
