84, of Williamstown, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 4, 2018.
Beloved husband of Bernardette F. Dougherty (nee Bright) for 61 years. Devoted father of Bernadette (Dennis) Beckett, Retta (Anthony) Mattia, Robert J. Dougherty, Patrick (Patricia) Dougherty and the late William Dougherty. Dear brother of Frances Walters, the late Margaret Stewart and the late Claire Mitchell. Loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren and one great grandson. Loving uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday, March 10th from 9:30 - 11:30 A.M. at the BELL-HENNESSY FUNERAL HOME, 420 South Main St., Williamstown. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 P.M. at Our Lady of Peace Parish, Main St. and Carroll Ave., Williamstown. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Williamstown.

Dougherty Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. I moved on lakeside drive 5 years ago and each night Doc would pull up with his bread in the back of his truck that he would give to everyone in the neighborhood and we would talk for atleast an hour each night. He kept in his truck pictures of his family and would tell me about each picture and what was going on at that time. He truly loved his wife who I want everyone to know is the best baker in south jersey and he was so so proud of his children and especially of his granchildren. God has taken a good man and he will be truly missed by so many.
