You were such an outstanding man.You gave a whole new meaning to "family man".I will always remember you.You gave wonderful advice and you will always have a special place in my heart. I had the utmost respect for you and your beliefs. You had a great sence of humor . The wine,cake,coffee and marshmallow ice cream are my favorites also.You left a wonderful legacy.Your wife,your children and grandchildren. I am lucky to be considered a part of your family.

The passing of Robert will be broadcast to our 2141 members shortly and we would like to extend our sincere condolences to your family. His absence from our ranks will be deeply missed by the remaining members of Philadelphia’s Finest who were fortunate to have served with him during his police career. I am so sorry for your loss, it was evident how strong your love for your husband was and will continue to be and how well loved you were and still are by him. I'll pray that God cradles your heart gently in His loving hands while you try to absorb the loss of him in the physical but know that he lives on in the many hearts he touched while on this earth. Please accept my sympathy on your loss. I so enjoyed the days Grandpop Gormley came to Kdg. lunch. He pulled no punches and told it like it was! He also donated his pay each day & told me to buy something for the students. Sophia, you are a fantastic kid, I know your Grandpop was very proud of you.

Bob we will miss you...
You always had a few funny stories to share...one story in particular was who was to get top billing in your wallet...your granddaughter or the big fish.....we laughed for days....we had some wonderful times, the hunting cabin will never be the same....
