Queenie Gilliland Obituary
St. Simons Isl - Funeral Services for Queenie "Jean" (Laux) Gilliland age 87 of St. Simons Isl., GA, will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018, 12pm at Plunk Funeral Home with Bro. Paul Cagle officiating. Burial will follow in Sherwood Memorial Gardens, Alcoa, TN. Visitation with the family will be Saturday, August 18th from 10am until service time at 12 pm.
Mrs. Gilliland died Monday, August 13, 2018, at Hospice of the Golden Isles, Brunswick, GA. She was born April 25, 1931, to the late George Theodore Laux and Linnie Josephine (Hatley) Laux.
She is survived by:

Daughters: Anita Jeanene (Tom) Broadbent
Ruthie Ann Perkins
Sisters: Lydia Joan Branch
Mary Josephine Medlin
Nancy Linnie (Paul) Cagle
Brother: Andrew "Andy" Lee (Pearl) Laux
Grandchildren: April Michelle (Yott) Spain, Holly Amber (Perkins) Sherwin (Seth Wesley), Jeremy Daniel Perkins (Jennifer Patterson), Chelsea Leigh (Daniel) Foust (Stephen Russell), Seth Early Gilliland and Grace Bailey Gilliland.
Great Grandchildren: Blanton Dean Spain, Palmer Lively Laager, Rowan Wesley Sherwin, Violet Jean Sherwin, Noah Elliot Sherwin, Madison "Maddy" Brooke Hall, Jaxson Dean Perkins, and Ella Jade Perkins.
