ROBERT WHEELER Obituary

WHEELER ROBERT JAMES Age 74, of Palmyra, New Jersey, passed away on September 30th, 2024. He is survived by his wife Patricia, of 46 years. Robert retired from the City of Philadelphia Police Department in 1999 where he spent the second part of his career with the Police Athletic League. Founder of The Juniata Golf Foundation. Services are Thursday, October 10th, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. Holy Innocents Parish 1337 E. Hunting Park Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19124. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to The Juniata Golf Course, 1391 East Cayuga Street, Philadelphia, PA 19124.

This is a real blow to what is left of Juniata Park. I played baseball against Bob when he was a member of the Juniata Park Boys Club Wildcats and ended playing golf against him in the Atlantic Winter Golf League. 60 plus years.
