CORDES
RUTH M. (nee Fox). Passed away at home on July 21, 2008. Born in Elizabeth, NJ on July 17, 2008. Ruth moved with her family to Broomall in 1956. She was an actie member of St. Anastasia Church. Proceded in death by her husband, George C. Cordes in 1986. She was the mother of George (Sue), Kevin, Tim (Christine), Mark (Jeanne), Gregory (Linda), Mary (Rick) Dunn, Ruthann (David) Baker, and the late Joseph and Anne, loving grandmother to Shawn Cordes, Brian Dunn, Adam Cordes, Brady Paul, Renee Cordes, Megan Hopkins, Kate Johnson, Amy Cordes, Matthew Cordes, Sam Baker, Emma Cordes, and Gabriel Cordes. The youngest joys of her life includ her 5 great grandchildren, Emily Hopkins, Jack Hopkins, Brendan Paul, Finn Hopkins, and Gavin Johnson. Sister of Edward Fox and the late Dorothy Fox Wysocki. Friends invited to call Thurs. eve. after 6 P.M. and Fri. after 9 A.M. at SWEENEY FUNERAL HOME, 209 N. Newtown Street Road (Rt. 252) Newtown Square PA. Funeral Mass Fri. 11 A.M. St. Anastasia Church. Int. SS. Peter and Paul Cem. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St. Anastasia School Endowment Fund, 3301 West Chester Pk, Newtown Square, PA 19073 would be preferred.

I was so sorry to hear about the loss of your Mom. She was always so kind to me. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I loved your Mother; she was always so dear. I would talk to her after the 12 Mass with my mother Elaine McShea, when they both were younger. I remember her smile and her kind words and she always wore a hat at Mass. You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Love Anne McShea
