Sean Kilkenny Obituary
SEAN R., of Doylestown, died Fri. Aug. 1, 2008 at his home, he was 46. He was the husband of Erlane Campos-Kilkenny. Born in Phila., he was the son of the late John and Alice McErlane Kilkenny. Sean graduated from Cardinal Dougherty H.S. in 1980. He earned a B.S. in Management Info. Systems and a law degree from Temple Univ. Most recently, he was employed by Siemens Corp. in Malvern, PA. He also served as an Assistant D.A. for the city of Phila. In addition to his wife, Sean is survived by 2 children, Bridget and John Kilkenny, both of Doylestown; 2 sisters, Kathleen Barrett (John) of Glenmoore and Maureen Kilkenny, of Phila.; his nieces and nephews: Kelsey, Matthew, Terrence and Kelly; his father and mother-in-law: Crisanto and Maimonides Campos of Miami and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Colleen. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass 11 A.M. Wed. Aug. 6, 2008 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 235 E. State St., Doylestown. Friends may pay their respects Wed. from 8:30-10:30 A.M. at the REED AND STEINBACH F.H., 2335 Lower State Road, Doylestown PA. Int. will follow the Mass in Doylestown Cem. The family requests no flowers. Memorial contributions in Sean's name may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or the Assn for Brain Tumor Research, 3725 N. Talman St., Chicago, IL 60618.

We were very sorry not to be able to attend the funeral. Although we had not met Sean, we had heard many beautiful things about him from Cris and Nides. Treasure the good moments you all shared with him.

Sean will be greatly missed. He was friendly to everyone he met and everyone wanted to be his friend. I first met him at Temple during Senior year, then we both started at SMS at the same time. My fondest memories were when he worked for Hahnemann IT for a time and we all had desks together in one big room and he would have the whole place constantly laughing at his good jokes.

I am sorry to hear about Sean's passing. It has been many years since I have seen him. I grew up in Summerdale and knew him then. And all of his cousins. And graduated from C.D with him too. We will keep you in our prayers.

Maureen, Kathleen, Erlane and family,
I am so sorry to hear about Sean's passing. He was one of the nicest, most genuine guys I knew and we always had great conversations about a whole host of issues when we saw each other at family gatherings. Sean was genuinely interested in how you were doing and what you were up to. That's a rare quality these days. He will be sorely missed. I just heard about Sean's passing. I first met him at Temple back in Sept, 1998 when I just started in IT at SMS. I was so new to IT, but Sean helped put me at ease. His sense of humor was much needed and appreciated. His faith was unwavering. He spoke of his family with much love and devotion. My condolensces to Erlane, Bridget and John.

I wish that I could wipe away your pain and suffering with a kind word or a special memory so here goes... I only spent one week with your family back in Cancun eleven years ago and within that time I felt the passion Sean had for life. I will always remember him with a smile on his face, loving his family and living life to the fullest. You have been given a great gift in life to have had Sean as your partner to enhance your life and give you the greatest gifts he could have ever given you, your children and his love. I am so sad to hear about Sean. I worked with him many years in Malvern and at Crozer Chester Med Center. He was a lot of fun to work with and such a thoughtful person.
