To the Murphy family. I have gotten to know Pat while at North attending Soccer games but never met Sean. It was great to see Pat at Romano's being inducted into North's soccer HOF and having a discussion about Sean's career prospects. Sean was on the threshold of realizing a dream. I extend my deepest sympathy and prayers for your loss.

Wow, It's been three years since you left us Sean , so hard to believe . I work in a Baseball Academy and coach there also, I tell my kids about you all the time, How hard you worked, the kind of player were, the skills you had when playing the great game of baseball. I tell them you were the next call up to the big leagues. As long as I coach I will tell my players about you. I hope you are playing with and against all the great players who have moved onto heavens baseball team.

Lorraine, Ray, Patrick, Brenda, Heather and John: Please know you are all in our thoughts and prayers. Words cannot express what we feel for each of you. Remembering the moments you each shared with Sean will continue to be a comfort. It is not being able to see our loved one any longer, I believe, is the difficult part of death. But always remember memories can never be taken from us and I am sure there are many great ones. With love and friendship to each of you.

Sean, thank you for making my college experience the best ever! You came into my life so quickly and made a huge impact! We became instant best friends! Thank you for always being a big brother to me! Thank you for your constant support, comfort, and protection! I'm so sorry I couldn't get off work to say a final goodbye here on Earth! But I cannot wait to see you again! I will forever miss you! Watch over all of us! I pray your parents and fiancé find some sort of comfort in this tragic time! I had the opportunity to coach Sean in the Bucks County Jr. American Legion Baseball League. Sean was one of the hardest working players I have coached. At the age of 14/15 he was a switch hitter and pitched and played shortstop. I got to know Sean because he also was friends with my son Rob and his friends thru the Somerton team and also played with the RBI PHILLIES program with my son. Sean rest in peace and we will miss you dearly.

Deepest sympathies to the Murphy family on the loss of Sean. He was one of the nicest kids in Fishtown! Quiet, polite and one of the best ball players to play on our fields. I remember stopping in Murph's Deli for a pizza and seeing him or talking with Lorraine and feeling the pride she felt for him. Prayers to all of you!

We are so sorry for your loss. Sean was great kid. Our son Tyler was drafted the same year. They shared the same flight out to Arizona and shared an apartment. He took a young high school kid and watched out for him. It made us feel good as parents to know that Tyler was being looked after. When we came out to spring training Sean always gave Tyler's mom a hug no matter what he was doing on the field. Our thoughts and prays are with you. Rest In Peace Sean!!

Sean you will be in my prayers along with your family we had good times playing at Crispin when we were younger and had the chance to play against eachother in college, I always knew I should have transferred to keystone with ya, but if there's anything positive of this you woke me up from what could happen to me if I don't stop goin down the wrong path. We were so saddened to hear of Sean's passing. For the years that our boys played baseball together at RBI, with Matt catching Sean's pitches, it was a pleasure to have watched him play.
