My sincere condolences to the Dougherty family. I was a fellow Fiji with Shawn at Hampden-Sydney and was a guest at the Dougherty house during that time. I will remember him with his constant smile and Springsteen playing in the background. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Donna and family, I am so sorry to hear of Shawns' passing - but finally he is no longer suffering in pain!!! It was heart breaking watching him sometimes even try and move. Donna you did it all--please accept my deepest sympathies . He loved you and his children and family and his devoted many friends so much. May God comfort you @ this sad time. Shawn I can't believe you are not in the family room waiting for us all to walk in the door to watch a sporting event or to celebrate a holiday or birthday. You better give us strength to get through these tough without you.
We will do our best to take care of Donna, Shannon, Caroline, Brianna, Mary Anne and Eddie but please take care of us. We love you and will miss you so much. Thanks for Disney, fun times and your love.
