STEPHEN W., on Dec. 29, 2009. Beloved husband of Elaine J. 'Cookie' (nee Dabrowski). Loving father of Rene A. Gray (Jim), Andrew J. Schafer (Diana), Rebecca A. Johnson (Derrell) and Donna McCullough (Dan). Grandfather of Matthew, Morgan, Riley, Andrew Jr., Aidan and Mac. Also survived by his mother, Mildred Robb; his brother, William Robb; and his mother-in-law, Jane Dabrowski. Relatives, friends, former fellow employees of Septa and Avalon String Band are invited to his Viewing and Funeral Saturday, 9 A.M., THE SLABINSKI FUNERAL HOME, 2614 Orthodox St., Phila. Funeral Mass, 11 A.M., St. John Cantius Church. Int. Private.

You and Steve welcomed us into the neighborhood 23 years ago, when we bought the house next door. Steve was a great guy, and our hearts go out to you and to your family at this most difficult time.

I'll always remember Steve on the el and the fun our little group had on the way to work in town. Steve was a true friend. It was a great way to start the workday. I'll keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
