I as well just learned about Steve's death. I went to Northeast High with both Steve and Larry and they both were my best friends in high school. We had a lot of good times and your family always treated me like I was one of the family. After you moved to Yardley from Strahle St. I didn't see you as much as I would have liked. I'm very saddened by this news. I would like to send my condolences to Joan (Mrs. Grobman), Mark, and especially Larry. I miss you all!
Sincerely,
Charles Lucier

To the Grobman family,
I just learned of Steven's death, and I offer my sincerest condolences. Steven and I (and Larry) were friends in grade school, and we spent a lot of time running, and playing other sports together. Steven and Larry taught me how to send away to automotive companies (using addresses in car magazine ads) for decals - I think I still have some in a box in the garage! I remember helping with Steven's campaign for class president in 6th grade against Andrea Cohen - his mom came up with the slogan: "Let's all vote for Steven, he's the one we believe in." Mark played on my box ball team at Farrell playground one summer. I also remember carpooling with Steven, Larry, Buddy (Kehres) and David Sockett to Wilson. I lived down the street at 1841 Strahle.
Again, my sincerest condolences.
