There are not enough words to express our sadness over the loss of one of our long time friends (40+) years. Even with our son getting married last month and Steve going thru treatment at that time and not feeling well, he told us he would be there and he kept his promise, as difficult as it was for him. That is what true friendship is and that cannot be replaced. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and hope they find comfort in their family, friends and wonderful memories. He will be truly missed.

Met Steamboat while attending Holy Innocents. He was a one of a kind. He and I made Sr Lydia retire after we spent 6th grade in the first two seats in front of her desk. He obviously was in the front seat. Great friend from back then. Lost contact for years but got back in touch when he was at Septa and then on the golf course. My prayers are with him.

"Steamboat" will be missed. A good baseball player, a better golfer, and an all-around funny guy.
