It has been a blessing knowing Mr. Epps for almost thirty years. He was always good for a smile, a joke and a hug. He was everythign to his family. I am sure he is dancing and sharing a little fire water with his family in heaven.

Dear Miriam, Alan, Donna and Family,

We are so very sad to hear about Ted's passing. My daily walks in the neighborhood will never be quite as interesting now that I won't have Ted to talk with as I passed by the house!

Conversations with Ted were always informative, frequently humorous and continually engaging. The only way to get through the incredible sadness I feel is to know that Digit was surely jumping for joy when Ted walked through the Pearly Gates. No doubt St. Peter made sure he gave Ted a little treat so that Digit would be doubly excited.

The world would be a better, kinder place if everyone had neighbors like Ted and Meriam.

You are all in our prayers.

Love,
Linda, John and JB Leighbody

Dear Alan, Ellen, Greg and family,
Our deepest sympathies to your family. My children loved their time spent in the "secret garden" at the corner. Toby loved the treats. Mr. Epps will be sorely missed in the neighborhood.

Our family sends its deepest sympathy to Miriam and family. We were always so grateful for the loving care with which Ted tended the "Climbing Tree" which our children have enjoyed for years

Dear Alan, Ellen and the boys,
My heart aches for your loss. A loving Dad, Grandfather, business partner and friend; impossible to image a day with out him, impossible to imagine him gone. Your family is strong, your friends are never far. We will all lift you up as God has lifted Ted into his kingdom. He rests easily in good company now. Take comfort and may God bless you.

The Epps Family,
I will miss the talks Mr. Epps and I had in our front yards during the summer time while we were both tending to house work. He always talked of his family, reunions and T-Shirts or family trips like to Disney World. He always had a treat for Max. On many occasions, we would look out our front window wondering why Max was barking and see Mr. Epps in our front yard playing with him. He always made sure our family was doing ok. Steeplechase and School House will be a little quieter but filled with memories. Mr. Epps will be greatly missed and always remembered. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.

Dear Epps Family--We were saddened this morning to read of Ted's passing. No walk around the block was complete without looking to see if Ted was out to throw a treat to Jackson and chat for a minute. His kindness made our neighborhood a happy place! Our thoughts are with you.

Our deepest sympathy to Ted's wife and Family. As a neighbor and former Marine, Ted and I shared may commonalities. He was as fine a neighbor as anyone could ever hope to have., a gentleman and a true lover of all dogs. I will always remember Ted as I pass the resting place he provided under the tree in his yard for neighbors who just needed to stop during their daily stroll through our neighborhood .

We look forward to seeing his family at his Memorial Services.

Dear Epps Family,
We will always remember the kindness shown to our kids in encouraging play at the "secret bush" and willingly offering $ for school fundraisers. Mr. Epps was such a loving, gentle soul in our neighborhood and he will be so missed by all of us. Our thoughts are with you.

Fondly,
The Levine Family
