I knew that Brennan was not well and I was checking to see how things were progressing when I came across this notice of his passing. My heart is saddened that Brennan was taken from us at such a young age. I was Brennan's triathlon coach while he was training for NYC Triathlon and then others that he participated in including Eagleman. Regardless of his demanding schedule and his desire to spend time with Allison in their new home in Catskill he persevered and always accomplished his goals. Having moved to Charleston SC I had lost touch with Brennan and Alison. I remember the last time I saw them they were going to dog sit for our dog Blue:)
I will remember them both playing with him.
My deepest condolences go out to Alison and the entire O'Brien family.

We lived next to the o'briens on mariner drive. Fond memories of him running across our front lawn and watching him grow into a young man. We were saddened to hear of his passing. May he rest in peace.

We still can not believe we have lost this very special man, my nephew, Brennan Obrien. I keep remembering him as a little boy when he was so inquisitive. He loved to have adult conversations with his Uncle Joe about all sorts of things. I remember him at family weddings when Brennan was all dressed up and he would stand behind my husband while he dancing, imitating his dance steps. He wanted to do everything well and it was so cute. I like to believe he is with his Uncle Joe and other departed family members enjoying the heavenly music, perhaps doing a few dance steps.

I have rarely seen the love and devotion that Brennan and Allison had for each other. I am glad that Brennan is no longer suffering but the world has lost a very special man. My thoughts and prayers are with Allison and his family. Have strength in the memories you all have of Brennan. He is smiling down at you now through the sun and the stars. We are all better people for having known him. Stay strong. Terry Miller
