VERONICA A., on Aug. 19, 2014, age 71 yrs., of West Oak Lane. Daughter of the late William and Katherine (nee Gaughan). Predeceased by her siblings Katherine Barish (late husband Landis, M.D.), Bertha McStay (late husband Hugh) and James Tweed (survived by his wife Patricia). She is survived by 11 nieces and nephews and predeceased by a niece Ruth Katherine Tweed. Funeral Mass, Wed., Aug. 27, 10:30 A.M., St. Raymond of Penafort Church, 1350 Vernon Rd. (at Williams Ave.), Phila., PA 19150. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing at the Church Wed., Aug. 27, after 9:30 A.M. Int. West Laurel Hill Cem. In lieu of flowers donations to St. Raymond of Penafort Church at above address would be appreciated.

I knew Ronnie at St. Raymond's grammar school and later as a Sister of Mercy, Sister Mary Vera. In later years as a single woman she continued her spiritual journey. She will be missed, a good 'citizen of the kingdom.' f. John Lydon, OP

As a member of our American Legion Auxiliary in Wyndmoor, Ronnie was always a first-class lady willing to volunteer her time and effort to our projects. She will be sorely missed and we are so sad to hear of her passing. Our prayers and sincere condolences go out to her family at this time.

To the family of Ronnie,
Ronnie will be missed, as you know she was a very kind and generous person.You all welcomed me to your home down in Ventnor, many walks on the boardwalk there and in Ocean City. We loved the Crab Shack with our glass of wine or our arametto sours. We had many great adventures together especially running around in England. She I know for sure is in heaven with her new brighly shinning Halo.
