Dear Family of Vince,
He was a very dear friend and colleague. His passing was a shock to me. I have many fond memories of Vince. The one meeting that I always remembered was having dinner with Vince, Dino and Daniel at an Italian restaurant overlooking the World Trade Center (September of 2001) days before the collapse of the buildings. It was our favorite time working for Emery Worldwide. He was our worldwide leader and mentor for the Global Sales.
Our relationship continued during the days of UPS and then on towards UTi Worldwide.
He always find time to chat. If i didn't call him for more than a week, he would call to make sure if everything was OK, and if there is anything he can do. He was always thinking of others - rather than himself.
In my life, he will always be remembered.
Rest in peace Vince.

Dear Gallagher Family, I am shocked and saddened to hear of Vince's passing. He was my manager at Emery Worldwide when I was in National Accounts, and to this day he remains the nicest boss I ever had. I learned a great deal from him and think about him very often. As everyone else has echoed - his family meant the most to him. My prayers are with you, I am so very sorry to hear of his passing.

Dear Sheila, I am very sad to hear about Vince, I have very fond memories of working for Vince and also the time we all met in England.
I have spent some time thinking about our times together, he was totally dedicated to everything he did, along the way we really had some laughs.
He always, always talked about the children, the love of soccer and seemed to get more into a day than i did in a week. His energy was without boundary.
Deepest sympathy and love from England

To The Gallagher Family,
We were some of the younger guys from Manoa-hanging on the corner -but usually playing ball in the Sacred Heart School yard.Vince, known as "Mooch"(where the nickname came from -I don't know)was just a a real good guy. Though we were 3 or 4 years younger ;Mooch always had something positive to say-"How do you like O'hara ,how are basketball tryouts going?"He was a soccer player and I remeber him with his high socks/shinguards on-even during our games of "taps" or half court 3 on 3. Always approachable,he had a smile and a calm reassuring way about him.Though it has been many years since I've seen Vince; He will always be a member of the Manoa Family.Ben Franklin (I believe) said that if you want to be remembered either write something -or do something worth writing about. From what I have seen in the wonderful tributes in the Guestbook, your family has been blessed to have been with him.Rest assured that he will be there for you forever. May God Bless you and may He hold Vince close to Him.Well done,Mooch.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Vince's passing. I worked for Vince at Uti, he was truly a good man with a great sense of humor. I had a tremdous amount of respect and admiration for him. I hope you take comfort knowing that he had such a profound positive impact on so many people whose lives he touched both personally and professionally, the true testament of a man and as great a leader he was for UTI, those that knew him best will say he was an even greater family man. Dear Shiela and Family;
My deepest sympathies over the loss of a great man and friend! I worked closly with Vince at Emery-Menlo-UPS, beginning with the earliest days when he joined Emery from American Airlines. Often, we shared the same travel schedule and more than a few glasses of wine at the end of the work day. On each trip, his thoughts were never far from his family and rarely escaped any conversation. He will be deeply missed, however, he leaves behind a wonderful legacy!

Dear Sheila and kids,
There are never the right words to express how deeply sad I am that you have to endure your loss. Vince will be truly missed by everyone who knew him no matter where they crossed his path in life.
I’ve worked for Vince at Emery/Menlo/UPS and then UTi. He was my mentor. I’ve always valued his friendship, kindness and thoughtfulness. Friends like Vince are few in life and it is with a heavy heart that I also grieve with your loss. Vince was always there to help no matter how busy he was; no matter the time of day it was. His friendship meant the world to me, and I couldn't have asked for a more genuine friend than Vince. Memories of Vince will be forever hold dear to me.

Vince's Christian values and yours, Shelia, have always shined best in your children of whom you must be very proud. Vince has definitely earned the eternal peace and glory of Heaven. Please know that all of our parish is sharing the grief you feel. And as a retired Notre Dame teacher, I can assure you that Tim will find loving support there from his friends.

Dear Sheila, Children, Kathy, Mary Ann and Joan,
We are deeply saddened to hear of the sudden passing of Vince. Vince lived his faith and loved his family deeply. He was most admired for his caring, hard working and honest person (and I must add a little frugal which we frequently joked).
Vince had the gift of gab and Irish humor and telling jokes (mostly corny but we still laughed anyway).
We pray that our Lord welcomed him home with open arms and told him "well done thy good and faithful servant" We will miss him.
May God Bless and comfort the Gallagher family.

My sincere condolences to Vince’s family. I worked with Vince at Emery/Menlo, and had the privilege of having him as a boss for several years. He threw me a lifeline when I needed one, and made sure I was not forgotten when Menlo was bought out. I will always be appreciative for what he did for me. Vince was well liked and respected by everyone he worked with, and he will be sorely missed.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Vince's passing. I will always remember that while working with Vince that it didn't matter what was going on or what "emergencies" there were at work - he always wanted to know first how my family and the baby girls were. It was obvious that nothing was more important to him than family. May God bring all of you strength and comfort during this difficult time.
