Walt...We will miss seeing you in our neighborhood, walking and talking your way down the street. It won't seem like the same place without you here. We send our sincere sympathies to your family, friends, and relatives.
God bless you,
Keith, Debbie, Michelena, and Nick Shumaker (and, of course, our dogs, Vito and Loopey -- who always looked forward to your visits at the fence!).

Uncle Vodzick, I have many childhood memories of you and you always made me laugh. May u rest in peace and say hi to my Dad , I am sure he will be happy to have a fishing Buddy.

Walt, as one of your neighbors, I will always remember your love of your garden, especially your tomatoes that you would start in pots on your picnic table and transplant down the lower yard. I also remember how your backyard was surrounded with neighbors with dogs, with each dog who barked at you until you would greet them. You once told me that you felt that you had three dogs, with no clean up responsibility. Also, I remember your boat that was in the driveway (in the 1990's) and the animated fishing stories. I was your neighbor long enough to know about your wife when she was incapacitated, and how you loved and miss her.
Your neighbors will miss you. My family will miss you. God bless and may your memory be eternal.
