Missing my brother and father!

January 25, 2014

The Christmas Holidays have passed. I miss you and the family. I think of you and them every day. There are times that I can sense your presence around us. Christmas is one of those times that you are most present. I put your four red union suits in the attic just before Christmas. I often remember you as you were in a photograph wearing a pair of "fottie" pajamas, you were two, I was seven.
Miss you,
Michele

T was a unique person-he was the little brother I never had... Steveo and I were the "adopted" kids/siblings...

I wonder where those jeans with all the patches went... Folk Fest hasn't been the same without T and those jeans...

I am sorry for your loss... Michele, Lizzy, Andy...

T,
You will always be remembered by
the Redd Rambler croud. Your top hat
and long coat was one image that will never be forgotten.

There is a world shared by a brother and sister. This is a secret world that only they know. No one else is allowed in this world of secrets. These secrets include waiting for Santa at the top of the stairs, and running when our parents approached the bottom of the step. Then there was the time I was going to run away to the Village, in New York City. You offered me all of the silver dollars that you were given when you were born, just so that I would have some money. This secret world can't be stopped by death. I wake up in the middle of the night hearing those endless T Rex songs that you would play over, and over. You were made for Glam Rock! Remember brother, " You can't fool the children of the revolution". I am grateful for our time together this summer, I regret that it was centered around an illness that would take you from me.
I Love You Always,
Your Sister,
Michele

Tom was one of those rare individuals who was deeply in tune with the spiritual plane and now he is unbound and can soar free! Peace my friend.

Tom may not be here in the physical world with us anymore, but he will always remain in out hearts. Close you eyes and I'm sure the first thought of him will make you smile. He was a unique and special soul to everyone that was brave enough for the adventure.

Tom, we will all miss you up at the mine. Thanks for being there and putting a big dent in that old dolomite. Always enjoyed your wit and company, the way you kept your sense of humor mining even in the worst weather, I'm sure well rewarded by our standards but not always that of the average guy. Our inside joke on the world. I stood at the edge of your claim last night, so many years my neighbor, as a thousand geese passed overhead to the big pond, then that calm autumn silence as yet another leaf floats away. Two taps on the ledge from all of us. Peace to you, Tom Tom.

Uncle Tom,
I miss you so much already, I don't know if I will ever be able to accept that you are gone. You were with me all my life, and colored much of my perception of the world in a way that no one else could. There was conviction in your vision of the world, and you were never hesitant to share that with others. You will always be in our hearts, and our minds. I hope you are finally able to soar through time and space without boundaries, and I hope you are reunited with everyone who we have loved and lost. I love you, and I will always miss you.
