WILLIAM BOYD Obituary
WILLIAM G. "BILL", 82, a long-time resident of Phoenixville, Berwyn and Strafford passed away at his new home in Bradenton, FL on Wednesday November 27, 2013. Bill was the owner of Boyd TV in Strafford and a volunteer with the American Red Cross helping with blood drives and traveling to New Orleans to help in the aftermath of Katrina. Surviving are 4 children: William G. Boyd, Jr., Deborah Davis, Joan (William) McKinley and James Boyd. 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Also surviving are 2 sisters: Phyllis Mikalajcyzk and Marilyn Marse.
Relatives and friends may call on Mon. Dec. 30th at St. Isaac Jogues Church: 50 Walker Rd. Wayne, PA 9-10 A.M. A Funeral Mass will begin at 10 A.M. Inurnment to follow at Edge-wood Memorial Park Glen Mills, PA. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in Bill's honor to: The American Red Cross: PO Box 4002018, Des Moines, IA 50340-2018. Arrangements are with

Bill was my first cousin and very dear friend. After he moved to Florida, we spoke every day by phone. He was such a good man, kind and always willing to help his family and friends. I left for vacation on the day he passed away, so didn't know he was gone until 10 days later. He loved his new home in Florida and welcomed visitors. He was active in his Church and community. Before he moved to Florida, he performed the arduous Task of updating our family tree, on his mother's side of our family. Our family name was Dollard. I miss him everyday. To Billy & all of the Boyd family,
I remember your dad from our early years at OLA & Conestoga, and enjoyed visiting with him in his shop. He always took the time to show me something new. I also remember our first color TV, a big Motorola console from Boyd TV, which made him a big star in the Spinelli house. Unfortunately, I just heard of your loss and missed the service at SIJ. Please accept my sincere condolences, and I hope to catch up soon.
