Dear Poppy,

I hope you have fun in heaven. I miss you and I hope you will miss me too. I have soo many great memories of you in the past few years, and I'm going to be really sad that I won't be able to make new memories in the future with you there by my side. I'll always remember our rides to Dunkin' Dounuts, you would get a coffee and I would get a hot chocolate, then we would take Hank for a run. I'm also gonna miss when you would take me and Taylor roller skating at the skating rink in New Jersey, we had a blast.
I Love You Poppy.
Love,
Colin doodles

Dear Poppy,

I really really miss you, because you are gone and I'am really sad. You were the BEST Poppy in the whole wide world! I am sad and I keep on crying because I Loved You. You took care of me when I was a baby and you always took me and Colin roller skating, and I'm really not happy because Nanny, Aunt Peggy, Tiffany our dog, and now you Poppy have died. You never got to say goodbye. I really miss you Poppy. I Love You Poppy.

Love,
Your Princess Taylor xoxo.

To My Husband

A thousand times we needed you
A thousand times we cried
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died
A heart of gold stopped beating
two twinkling eyes closed to rest
God broke our hearts to prove he only took the best
never a day goes by that you're not in my heart and my soul.

Love,
Your Wife Linda.

To My Husband

I have only just lost you the pain is hard to bear
Do I have to go through life knowing you're not there
please some one explain to me why he had to go
are there any reasons I really need to know
I sit here and remember all the lovely times we shared
the talks the laughter of every one you cared
I am told the pain will ease in time
and I will think of him without a tear
but that will be impossible as I need to have him here
He was my very world to me my ever guiding star
Just kiss me softly on the cheek and tell me where you are.

Love,
Your Wife Linda.

Poppy

I never got to give you a hug
before an angel took your hand and gave you a tug

I never got to give you a kiss
before you made your final wish

I never got to tell you I love you
before you disappeared into the sky so blue

I never got to tell you Goodbye
before you got your wings and learned to fly

all these things I wish I did whether by choice or fate
I was too late...

Love,
Your little Princess Taylor xoxo.

I know we are all feeling a little bit sad,
That we've lost our Poppy, our friend and our dad
Together we have cried an ocean of tears
As we feel so empty and hold many fears

But Poppy would want us to know he's in a good place
And that he watching us all with a smile on his face
As we have made him so proud, as proud as can be
That he has raised such a beautiful and special family

Thinking back now I really must say
I feel lucky and privileged to have known Poppy to this day
For in my life, you have played a special part
The memories I will treasure and keep close to my heart

To each one of us he has loved and cared
And as a family, be thankful for the good times we shared

Although he has gone we will always be together
And his spirit will live on each one of us forever
When you look to the sky, look for the brightest star
As that will be Poppy looking down on us from afar

And now I would like to thank the good Lord above
For blessing us with our Poppy with his kindness and love
Dear God, if it is not too much fuss
Take extra special care of our Poppy as he is very dear to us

Poppy if you are listening say a prayer for us every day
Be sure to protect us and guide us on our way
We know when God called you, you had to go
But we want you to know Poppy we miss you and love you so

Love,
Colin and Taylor.
We Love You Poppy.

Poppy
It seems like just yesterday
we were laughing together
joking around
you called me your little buddy
cause I was always by your side
you said you'd live forever
that I did believe
until one sad gloomy day
you were gone from our home
I cried for hours on end
I didn't think I'd have to live a life with out my best friend
no more joking
or hearing his laughter
no more going to Dunkin' Dounuts and taking Hank for a walk
no more roller skating
no more late nights watching TV
no more of this
no more of you
all I have left is the great times I've had with you.
I miss you grandpa I'll never forget you

Love Always,
Your buddy Colin.
I Love You Poppy.

A Prayer For My Dad
William Cockerill Jr.

I cant believe I'm standing here,
Saying my goodbyes
To a Dad that meant the world to me,
My Dad with big blue eyes

Anyone who loved him
Will know how I feel today,
My Dad was the sunshine of my life
Who could light up the darkest days.

So goodbye Dad my only Dad,
Take your wings and fly
To eternal happiness and your reward,
through the big gates in the sky.

Love,
Lindsay xoxo

Dad, you will forever live in my heart, prayers, and everyday life. It's hard to imagine my life without you now and it still is hard to grasp that your gone. The memories that our family had together I will forever cherish and never forget. I miss and love you so much.

My Dad

I know this man
Who is dear to my heart
Suddenly one day
It was torn all apart

This man taught me every thing
That I needed to know
But I never really listened
Until he had to go

He gave me love
And touched my life
Its all over now
He no longer has to fight

He tried to teach me
Right for wrong
The day he left
I wasn't that strong

He is gone now
It is hard to believe
This man is my dad
Who I will never see

But I will see him again
This I know
The day will come
When its time for me to go

So, I'll hold him dear
And close to my heart
Cause the day we meet
I know we'll never be torn apart.
