He was such a remarkable man and customer for many years at the restaurant. He was always so kind and generous and humble.
I am deeply saddened and grateful to have known him and his wife in my lifetime.

Bill was an awesome guy , met him
about 40 years ago. I knew of the Tessing family years before that but met Bill at Platzs in the Poconos by chance. He remained a good friend of all at Platzs and myself over the years, great guy with a gift of gab!
God Bless all the Tessing family and so sorry for your loss. He will be missed by many.

Linda, Billy, Megan, Andrea, Barbie, and families, I am so sorry for your loss.
Billy was not only a wonderful man, but his kindness was unmatched!
I have so many fond memories of family visits to Wayne Avenue, that were outlined by love and laughter always ! The pool, the practical jokes, the fun and the love..grateful to have those memories. Prayers to all of you, as your hearts begin the journey of mourning this tremendous loss!

Bill was one of the nicest people that I've ever had the good fortune to not only meet but become friends. I will miss our conversations over a copper lager at Platz's. You will surely be missed by your extended family in the Poconos. Rest easy my friend.

I AM VERY SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS.
I met Bill a few years ago doing a couple demolition job in Camden for hunter Robert's and from day one I met him we clicked it was like we were friends forever we would go to lunch down on haddon ave and stop at fire house and laugh about his story's he was a great man and friend that I will never forget. Again sorry for your loss marc horan.

Bill Tessing was the kind of neighbor than anyone would be proud to know. I have known Bill Tessing since the day they moved in. I just remember every time that the ambulance would come to my home that he would be there to make sure that everything went okay. He will truly be missed in the neighborhood because of what a good person he was.

Billy was my cousin. We lived in our grandparents house until was 11. He was a great cousin and a lovely man. Everyone who knew him loved him. May he rest in peace.

I am so sorry and saddened to hear this news. Some great memories of Mr Tessing growing up on Morgan Avenue. Sadly, my Dad passed away yesterday as well. 2 Great Morgan Avenue dads gone on the same day. Very sad!
