Joel Tallon Obituary
Joel was born May 30th, 1963 in Bishop and remained in Bishop his whole life. Joel had a knack for fixing things. If something was broke he would try to fix it before throwing it away. He became a Diesel Heavy Equipment mechanic by trade. He had a great sense of humor, having fun and a kind heart. Joel loved his family, beer, an outdoors-man, 4X4 adventures in the mountain's, Nascar racing, and being a rock hound.
Joel is survived by his devoted Loving Wife Kelly Tallon, son Jason Tallon, daughter and son-in-law Sara and Brandon Nelson, stepson Corey Bowlan. Grandchildren, Seth Arnold, Summer and Austin Nelson, many friends and family. He will be missed by many.
There will be a celebration of life Saturday, September 13th, 2025 at Millpond concession stand 12 to 4 p.m. this is potluck, burger's will be provided, bring a chair, seating is limited. In honor of Joel, the family asks for you to wear your favorite graphic T-shirt or hat, and bring the stories.
