Pamela Hunt Obituary

Pamela Jean Hunt, a once in a lifetime singularity that everyone who had the pleasure of meeting, has gone to meet her Lord and Savior. She peacefully left in the early hours of July 21, 2025.
As if destined, Pam was born on Feb. 16, 1961 in Battle Creek. She was born in a month brimming with love and this was seen undoubtedly in her various artistic endeavors. Pam loved writing and art.
When she wasn't loving her family, especially her children, she was sprinkling bits of her soul in a love that was her own and reminded her of herself as Pamela. She wrote articles, books and songs. "Antique Roses" was one of her favorite published works. Pam shared her creativity and joy with her friends and family, painting portraits of them in her own avant-garde style.
Her favorite subjects, that shone in her eyes as she worked, were her children and nature. Pam's love for nature was seen in her appreciation for flowers, especially roses, which were her favorite. It shone in the care she provided her cherished cats, Simba and Gideon.
Pam is survived by her mother, Phyllis Meske of Oscoda; her sister, Cindy (Rob) Lincoln of National City; a brother, David (Sandy) Ledin of Whittemore; her children, Joshua (Heather) Hunt of Waterford, Jeremy Hunt of Saginaw, Toby Hunt of Orange County, Calif., Tessa Hunt of Brighton, Madison Hunt of Oscoda, and Dara Hunt of California; grandchildren, Dylan, Vanessa, Alistair, Broderick and Braydon; and nieces and nephews. Pam was preceded in death by her father, David M. Ledin Sr.
Pamela was a devout believer in God and His many teachings. May her soul rest in eternal peace and His light shine upon her for all of time.
