Barbara Luther Obituary

Barbara Luther

April 19, 1926 - February 24, 2024

Hilton Head Island, South Carolina - Barbara Luther passed away peacefully on 02-24-24 at her Hilton Head Island home at the age of 97. She is survived by her 3 children, Scott, Donna and Susan (Allen), 8 grandchildren and 20 grandchildren, whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clark E. Luther.

She traveled extensively throughout her lifetime and among her favorite places were Maui HI and Hilton Head, SC, and she felt fortunate to have resided in Hilton Head for nearly 20 years. She enjoyed her daily walks, playing bridge, mahjong, sudoku, doing beautiful cross-stitches, and it also gave her great joy to knit baby caps for the newborns at Hilton Head Hospital.

Her family would like to extend their gratitude to Cypress Home Health and Crescent Hospice for their compassionate care. Burial will be private.
