Charles Drafall Obituary

Charles Gene Drafall of Bluffton, South Carolina (formally of Elgin, IL) passed away July 9th, 2025 surrounded by family. Charles was born on April 17, 1950 to Melvin and Florence Drafall of Elgin, IL.

Charles worked for ITW Shake Proof for many years, along with being a mechanic and handyman. If there was something that needed to be fixed Charles was the go-to guy. He took pride in his lawn work and was always doing landscaping and lawn care.

Charles is survived by his children Douglas (Emily) Drafall, Joseph (Heidi) Drafall, Scott (Eren Sanchez) Drafall. Grandchildren Reid Drafall and Cora Drafall. Brother Marvin Drafall and Sister Deborah Dietz. Niece Michelle Dietz and nephew Carl Dietz. He is also survived by his former wives Karen Zenkowich and Patricia Zambo, the mothers of his children.

Charles was proceeded in death by his parents and nephew Dale Drafall.

Please join us for a gathering honoring Charles's life on November 9th from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m., to be held at Katie O'Donald's, 1008 Fording Island Rd, Bluffton, SC.
