Elizabeth Rhett Obituary

Elizabeth Ricker Rhett Elizabeth Ricker Rhett of Arden, North Carolina, wife of the late Robert Barnwell Rhett, died on July 8, 2018. A graveside service will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, at St. Helena's Episcopal Church Cemetery, Beaufort, South Carolina. St. Helen's Episcopal Church in Beaufort is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Rhett was born on January 10, 1926 in Schenectady, New York, a daughter of the late Elizabeth Gregorie Elliott and George Frederick Ricker. She attended Beaufort, South Carolina Schools and Hollins College, Roanoke, Virginia. She is survived by her children: Robert Barnwell Rhett, Jr. (Karen) of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina; Elizabeth Rhett Jicha (Jon) of Waynesville, North Carolina; George Ricker Rhett (Beverly) of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina and Sally Holmes Rhett of Asheville, North Carolina; grandchildren, Amy Elizabeth Jicha, Dylan Charles Jicha and Caroline Barnwell Rhett; her sister, Nancy Ricker Rhett and nephews, Charles Rutledge Webb, Stephen Elliott Webb and William Means Rhett, Jr. Memorials may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, 1315 Lyttleton Street, Camden, SC 29020 or to the Kershaw County Humane Society, 128 Black River Road, Camden, SC 29020. www.morrisfamilyfuneralhome.com
