Frank "Chuck" Luciano III

Frank"Chuck" Luciano III Frank"Chuck" Luciano III, 71, passed away on September 20,2017 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Frank touched the lives of many over the years with his generosity, and will undoubtedly be missed by all who knew and loved him. Frank was born on August 5, 1946 and spent his childhood in Lodi, NJ with his large, extended family. He served in the United States Navy, and later pursued a career in law enforcement. After 25 years with the Lodi Police Department, he retired to Hilton Head Island where he quickly expanded his love for the outdoors and in the process developed a whole new family of friends. He could often be found fishing at Miller's Pond and playing countless rounds of golf on the local courses; even capturing the Port Royal Club Championship, like his father before him. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Frank Luciano Jr., and brother Robert. He is survived by his dear sister Dawn (Jerry) Pickler of Wayne, NJ, as well as numerous adoring godchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Frank was the beloved husband of Janet Ingenito Luciano, his dedicated wife of 39 years, and devoted father to daughters, Jamie Luciano of Burlington, NC, and Jodi (Nick) Bassett of Canton, GA. He was also "the best Papa ever" to granddaughter Macie Layne, his favorite sidekick and the light of his life. There will be no memorial service at this time.
