Harold Barrial Obituary

Harold J. Barrial Harold Joesph Barrial, 81, of Hilton Head Plantation died Thursday at the Hilton Head Regional Medical Center. He was born on March 7, 1927 in New York City, NY and was the son of the late Sally Barrial and Ramon Barrial. He moved to Hilton Head Island in 1992 from Cincinnati, Ohio. He was a veteran of World War II and retired as an aerospace engineer with General Electric Aviation in Cincinnati. He is survived by his wife Mary Frances Drake Barrial; a son and daughter-in-law David and Paula Barrial of Cincinnati; a daughter and son-in-law Marielou and Jay Vierling of Cincinnati; four granddaughters Melanie (Daniel) Vollmer of Charlotte, NC Melissa Vierling of Atlanta, GA, Danielle Barrial and Sarah Barrial both of Cincinnati; a grandson Ryan Barrial of Cincinnati and a great grandson Daniel H. Vollmer, Jr. of Charlotte, NC. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday at St. Francis by the Sea Catholic Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mitochondrial Disease Foundation, 8085 Saltsburg Road, Suite 201, Pittsburgh, PA 15239 USA The Island Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements.
