James Scheider Obituary

James P. Scheider James P. (Jim) Scheider, 74, of Hilton Head Island, died Friday, November 9 at Hilton Head Hospital. Born in Jersey City, New Jersey, he was the son of the late John and Antonia Marrese Scheider. He was a graduate of Wayne High School in New Jersey and served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Piedmont in the Asia Pacific region based out of San Diego. He retired from EI DuPont as a project manager in the explosives division. Jim is survived by his wife Vivian Ferrier Scheider; his son Nick and wife Carrie of Durham, NC; his daughter Victoria Libertoff of West Virginia; grandchildren Noah, James and Lily Scheider and Cameron Harless and Pierce Libertoff; great grandchildren Calian and King Harless; and his sister Judith Quant of New Jersey. Friends will be received from 11am to 1 pm Tuesday at The Island Funeral Home and Crematory, 4 Cardinal Road. A service will be held at 12 pm.
