Mary Duggan Obituary

Mary Duggan Mary Duggan, a faithful servant of the Lord has passed to her reward on December 1st. She was loved deeply by her six children Mary Ellen, Billy, Monica, Michael, Sean, Kevin and her 12 grandchildren. She was predeceased by her Husband Bill Duggan, Father James McCabe, Mother Catherine Dolan and sister Helen Hogg. She was born in Brooklyn, New York and graduated from St. Joseph's College. Mary and Bill lived in Stamford CT until 2003 when they decided to retire to one of their favorite places on earth, Hilton Head, South Carolina. They loved to travel, their adventures took them to six continents. She was an active volunteer at NAMI Beaufort County, SC and Holy Family Church where she was an active member. Friends may call at Thomas Gallagher Funeral Home, located at 453 Shippan Ave. in Stamford. from 4pm-8pm on Friday Dec. 8th. A Mass of Christian burial will be at St. Leo's Church in Stamford CT on Saturday at 10am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Mary's memory to NAMI Beaufort County, PO Box 24128, Hilton Head Island, SC 29925. In the Kelly /McCabe household the question was always where is Mary Duggan traveling to now? My mom and all loved hearing of her adventures.
She will be truly missed by my Mom and all of us. I'm sure Uncle Jimmy has a shot of whiskey hidden in the top of his cane to welcome her home.
