Paul Allen Obituary

Paul Dean Allen Paul Dean Allen, 81 of Bluffton, SC passed away on June 16, 2016 in the Hilton Head Hospital, Hilton Head Island, SC. Mr. Allen was born on February 23, 1935 in Acme, West Virginia to the late William Morgan Allen and Mary Ellen Totten Allen. Mr. Allen was a graduate of East Bank High School where he was a Letterman in three sports. A graduate of the University of Charleston, West Virginia; West Virginia School of Banking and the University of Wisconsin School of Banking. Mr. Allen was a member of the Bluffton United Methodist Church; enjoyed all sports, especially golf and served in the West Virginia Army National Guard. Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Barbara Slack Allen of Bluffton; daughters, Kathy Dunigan (Michael) of Ridgeland, SC and Linda Smith (Brendan) of Bluffton, SC; brothers, Richard Allen (Earlene) of Bluffton, SC and Jack Allen (Gail) of Dover, Delaware; grandchild, Shannon Pike (Aaron) and great grandchildren, Morgan, Paul and Elizabeth Pike all of Layton, Utah. He was predeceased by his brother, Howard Allen and sisters, Phyllis Bussard and Frances Crowl. Memorial donations may be sent to the Bluffton United Methodist Church, Building Fund, P.O. Box 368 Bluffton, SC, 29910.

So sorry to learn of Paul's passing. You all were wonderful friends to my family, and some of my favorite childhood memories include our beach vacations & watching Disney in your home on Sunday evenings back in West Virginia.
Your are all in my thoughts.
