I worked for Coastal Lumber Company for 41 years. Mr.Barringer always made an effort to come by my office when he was in to speak & ask how things were going. I always felt more like family than an employee. I admired & respected him so much. I still think of him very often. He gave a young 20 year old woman a chance for a wonderful career. I will never forget him.

I am sorry to learn of Mr. Barringer's passing. He and Coastal Lumber are and will always mean something special to me due to his relationship to my father, Homer Jordan, and as an integral part of my early life in Weldon, N.C.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. Mr. Barringer was always so kind to me. He gave this small town girl a wonderful career in the Lumber Industry, a job that I truly loved. We felt more like family than employees. I will never forget him. My prayers are with the family.
