Viola Parker Obituary

Viola Parker Viola Parker from Newcomb NY born on April 3, 1935 passed away peacefully at her daughter's home in Beaufort, SC on August 23, 2018 at the age of 83. She was a retired nurse who practiced in Glens Falls Hospital for nearly 20 years, which she truly enjoyed. She loved doing her puzzles and spending time reading, playing Scrabble and Phase 10, were two of her favorite games. She was the best mom and grandmother anyone would want. She loved and enjoyed time with all her grandchildren watching TV and doing puzzles with them. She was preceded in death by her husband Henry Parker, mother Rose Lambert and daughter Donna Benway and son in law Peter Groome. She is survived by her daughters Debra White and her husband David White of Summerton, SC , Darlene Connelly and her husband Tony Connelly of Beaufort, SC , Peggy Groome and her son James Parker of Gansevoort, NY along with 5 grandchildren, Stefanie Samson and husband John from Escondido, California, Jason Vuolo and wife Emily of Beaufort, SC , Christy White of Hoosick Falls, NY and Henry Norton and his wife Rebecca of Hudson Falls, NY and Jonathan Vuolo, of Bluffton, SC along with 16 great grandchildren; Kyle, Tyler, Ethan, Bella, Emilia, Evelyn , Trey, Ayla, Hayden , Skyler, Jazmyne, Justyn, Hunter, Noah , Josiah, and Savannah Rose and 2 great-great grandsons Logan and Matthew. She will be buried with her husband in Newcomb, NY early fall. Anderson Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
