Walter Christopher Herman Kienke Walter Christopher Herman Kienke, 83, of Bluffton, SC died Saturday, July 26, 2008 in the Coastal Carolina Medical Center, Hardeeville, SC. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on September 26, 1924. He was the son of the late Christopher and Kathryn Gerdes Kienke. He was a retired Executive with AT & T and a member of the Sun City Veterans Club. He was a US Army Corps Captain ñ Bombadier on B-24's during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nadine Jostedt Kienke of Bluffton, SC; one son, Bruce W. (Laurie) Kienke of Plymouth, MN; one brother, Harry Kienke of Pt. St. Lucie, FL; two grandchildren, Allison Wert and Ashton Kienke and one great grandchild, Hayden Wert. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, August 1, 2008 at Church of the Palms, 1425 Okatie Highway, Okatie, SC with burial in the Beaufort National Cemetery, Beaufort, SC. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations to the Salvation Army National Headquarters, P.O. Box 269, Alexandria, VA 22313 or charity of choice. Sauls Funeral Home of Bluffton, SC is assisting the family with their arrangements. (www.saulsfh.com)
