Andrew Keeter Obituary

Andrew Felton Keeter, 32

August 17, 1990 - January 31, 2023

Swampscott - Andrew, a lifelong resident of Swampscott, passed away unexpectedly at his home on January 31st.

He was a 2008 graduate of Swampscott High School, where he ran track and cross country for Big Blue winning the 2006 State Championship along with his brother, James. He also played varsity baseball in Swampscott. Following his graduation from Springfield College in 2012, Andrew worked as the Operations Manager for North Shore Navigators. Most recently, Andrew worked at various North Shore restaurants and was a favorite face for local patrons

Andrew was a kind and caring soul who was quick to help out a neighbor or friend in need. He loved spending time with Rocket, his Corgi, taking long walks on the beach. Andrew enjoyed the Swampscott beaches and spent many hours at Phillips beach with friends. Andrew and James were known as the Keeter twins, and answered to "Keeter", as most people could not tell them apart.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Judy and Connie Culkin of Watervliet, NY, and Raleigh and Jane Keeter of Schenectady, NY, as well as his maternal uncle, Bradley Culkin

He is survived by his loving parents, mother Terri Culkin Keeter of Swampscott and father Tim Keeter (Lynda) of Swampscott, and his beloved identical twin brother James Keeter (Will Martins). He is also survived by his Aunts, Dana Duffey and Betsy Root, as well as cousins Sean, Lauren, and Liam Duffey, Kristen Bush and Leah Root. He will be missed by all.

Andrew and James were a fixture at my home growing up. The group of boys hanging out, playing manhunt, street hockey, basketball, baseball and later hanging in my attic. Spending Thanksgiving morning in my garage. Andrew will be missed so very much by all who loved him.
