Erin L. O'Neill

Erin Lyn O'Neill, age 38 of Lawrence, formerly of Lynnfield, died Monday at her home, after a long battle with drug addiction. Born in Lynn, and raised in Hillsborough, California, Erin was the daughter of Deborah Lyn (Ralph) O'Neill of Lynnfield and John P. O'Neill and his wife Jennifer of Portsmouth, NH. A graduate of Lynnfield High School, class of 2000, she had also earned a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work from Salem State College. She had worked for many years as a social worker in area nursing homes. Erin enjoyed the beach, creative writing, journaling, and crafting with her daughter Soraya Lyn, who was the pride of her life. In addition to her parents she is survived by her daughter Soraya Lyn Soto of Lynnfield, her sisters; Colleen Marie McClung and her husband Jeffrey of West Newbury, and Caitlin Marie O'Neill and her wife Megan O'Neill of Andover, two nephews; Benjamin and Parker McClung, her grandparents; Janet Ralph and the late Stewart Ralph, and D. June O'Neill and the late John W. O'Neill., as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Service information: Visiting hours will be held on Monday from 9:00AM-11:00AM in the Solimine Funeral Home 426 Broadway (RTE129), Lynn, followed by a Service at 11:00AM.
