Dear Clara and Family
I was sorry to hear of your loss. I had the pleasure to work with Frank on the YF17/YJ101 (LWF) Program in the early 70's, and later worked with him at Evendale after I joined GEAE in 1980. Frank was a terrific and talented Engineering manager and such a great friend. All of us who knew him on the LWF Program thought the world of him and were so pleased to work with him. Our deepest sympathy to you and your family

I did not know Frank personally but still remenber his leadership at GE Lynn well. He was a gentleman and a professional. It is unfortunate we do not have leaders like Frank anymore. I was touched by the description of his life. I offer my deep condolances to the family and can relate after losing my Mother last week.

Clara and Family,

While a GE Lynn employee since 1982, it was a pleasure to finally meet Frank in 2007 when he was able to join us here in Lynn to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the T58 engine's first flight. Many years prior to our meeting, I was touched by Frank's generosity when he provided a donation to an Elfun related cause that was I was sponsoring. Based on these limited interactions, it is clear that Frank was a kind, caring and unique individual. My condolences on your loss.

Clara and family,
I was deeply saddened to learn of Frank's death. Frank graduated from Mechanical Engineering a few years before I did and even though I did not know him as a student he had become a great friend. I also have the utmost admiration and respect for Frank as a truly outstanding engineer. He always supported UMaine and Mechanical Engineering in many ways and because of his generosity, and yours Clara, we have a fluids and gas turbines laboratory in your names in Crosby Laboratory. I will forever miss Frank's good humor and his support and encouragement. He was a true gentleman.
