Stephen Gaudet Obituary
1977 - 2023
Lynn - Stephen A. Gaudet, age 45, of Lynn, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, January 27, 2023. He was the son of Joyce (O'Grady) Gaudet of Nahant and the late Russell Cole Gaudet. He was born and raised in Nahant, and was a graduate of Swampscott High School, class of 1996. He had also attended the University of Hartford.
Stephen had worked for many years in the construction industry. He was an accomplished golfer and a baseball pitcher, and also enjoyed playing pool. He was kind and generous and will be remembered for his great sense of humor. He was always willing to help anyone who needed it. Above all, he was a wonderful son, father and brother.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his beloved daughter, Madison E. Gaudet of Lynn, his former wife, Simona (Eglite) Gaudet of Lynn; his siblings; Russell F. Gaudet of CA, Linda A. Gaudet of Nahant, Marcia A. Huntley and her husband David of Boston, Lisa A. Franklin and her husband Craig of Topsfield, and Jeffrey C. Gaudet of Lynn and Nahant. He also leaves 11 nieces and nephews, 5 great-nieces and nephews, and many aunts and uncles, whom he loved dearly.
Service Information: His visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4-8PM in the Solimine Funeral Home, 67 Ocean St. (Rt 1A) Lynn. His funeral will be held on Thursday at 10AM in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Nahant. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will be private. Those who prefer may make donations in honor of Stephen's niece to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation "Team Cheeka", 220 N Main St #104, Natick, MA 01760 or at www.cff.org. To Steve's Family and Friends, he definitely was a character and had a huge smile. He definitely looked out for me growing up as he was a friend of my brothers. I had not seen him in almost a decade or more and he reached out via FB to share some important, tough, but honest information that was very helpful for me and helped me in many ways than he could possibly know. He didn't have to look out for me, or help me in any way, but he did and without being asked. He did it simply because he was an old friend of both my brother's. Many days he spent teasing me with his crew of buddies at my house, but the those things are what helped build me into the strong person I am today. So sad to hear the news, and I will always remember that smile!

Steve was someone who could always make me laugh. He had the biggest heart and never wanted anything in return. He was always there for me during my darkest moments and my son enjoyed his company. He would let my son jump on the trampoline in his backyard whenever he wanted. He would even cook my favorite foods at like midnight and walk it down to my house for me because he knew i was always too busy to eat. He even let me use his kitchen one year for Thanksgiving. I will miss you Steve! I wish I could talk to you one more time. I wish I could hear your dumb jokes one more time. Childs Street definitely won't be the same without you. This really hit my heart hard. No matter in the flesh or not, you are loved and never forgotten.
