Virginia Losano Obituary
1920 - 2021
Swampscott - Virginia C. "Ginny" (Dolan) Losano, age 100, of Swampscott, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at her home after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Angelo M. Losano. Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances Dolan. Ginny was raised in Lynn, and was a graduate of Lynn English High School. She had lived in Swampscott for the past 60 years.
Ginny worked as a customer service representative for National Grid for many years until her retirement. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church, Swampscott. Active in the Town of Swampscott, both she and her husband volunteered at the Swampscott Senior Center for many years and also delivered Meals on Wheels.
Ginny is survived by many nieces and nephews who meant the world to her. She was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Brown. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Partners Health Care and Care Dimensions for the exceptional care given to Ginny.
Service Information: Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9AM from the SOLIMINE FUNERAL HOME, 67 Ocean St (Rt 1A), Lynn, followed by a funeral mass at 11AM in Holy Family Church, Lynn. Burial will be in Swampscott Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visitation will be in the funeral home on Tuesday from 9AM-10:30AM. It was a pleasure to have met you and spent time getting to know you. You were one in a million. I'm sure Angelo was right there with the rest of your loved ones, waiting with loving, open arms, to welcome you Home. Thank you for your kindness towards my son. It was greatly appreciated.
